Spring 2023 Update: Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange) is using the COVID-19 Response Plan to create a safe teaching and learning environment for the Spring semester. This plan has been informed by COVID-19 pandemic trends and input from various constituencies within the College community, as well as guidance from a variety of partners to include New York State, the State University of New York (SUNY) and the Orange County Department of Health (OCDOH).

Summer 2023 Update: The State University of New York has announced that a COVID-19 vaccine will no longer be mandated for students to attend SUNY’s 64 campuses, effective for summer courses. Moving forward, COVID-19 vaccinations will be strongly encouraged for students, which is consistent with other viruses including influenza and mpox. Faculty and staff will also be encouraged to stay up to date on vaccinations.
