| Capitalize on the knowledge gained in the Introduction to the Stock Market Part 1 and delve deeper into portfolio management and various equity related alternatives available to investors. Topics will include: evaluating and minimizing risk through proper diversification; understanding market news and interpreting companies financial information; various investment strategies to include mutual funds, exchange traded funds, market sectors and individual stock selection. The course will include a case study of an investment to be selected, researched and debated among participants. Prerequisite: Introduction to the Stock Market Part 1, or its equivalent. 3 sessions
