Csi I/Forensic (Grade 9-12)

The CSI I- Computer Forensics Institute I will introduce students entering 9th to 12th grade to the basic elements of crime scene investigation and documentation along with evidence collection and examination. The sessions will include evidence collection methods pertaining to fingerprints, collecting and examining blood, hair and fiber evidence; and firearm and tool mark examinations. Students will also be introduced to the computer-assisted drawing program &quotCrime Zone&quot and a computer mugshot drawing program that are utilized by many police departments across the country in reconstructing crime scene events. On the fourth day, students will process a mock crime scene utilizing the skills and techniques learned during the institute. 4 sessions
